How Is hard candy made?

Hard candy is crafted by heating a mixture of sugar, water, and Glucose to a high temperature, around 320F (160C), untill it reaches the hard crack stage.

Flavorings, color, or acids like citrus acid is added to to enhance its taste and appearance.

Once removed from the heat and cooled on a cooling table then it is stretched,shaped, and cut by hand while wearing special gloves to prevent burns.
It cools further until the candy solidifies into a glossy hard candy.
